Emad Youssef, M.D.Dr. Emad F. Youssef, M.D., is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science(UAMS). He recently served as Assistant Lecturer at the national Cancer Institute-Egypt in Cairo. Dr. Youssef earned his medical degree from Cairo University and completed his residency in the Gerhenson Radiation Oncology Center at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Along with serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Youssef also won awards as a radiology resident including the American College of Radiology Resident Award. He is certified by the American College of Radiology. Dr. Youssef is a junior member of both the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO). He has contributed to many professional publications, scientific journals and book chapters focusing on radiation oncology and other aspects of cancer therapy. He is currently involved in multiple research studies which evaluate new treatments for patients with prostate cancer, breast cancer and many other facets of oncology.
