Dr. Zhang obtained her M.S degree in Health Physics from Colorado State University in 2001 and received her degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Health Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2006. She joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at UAMS as a medical physics resident in June 2006. She is an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Her research interests cover various aspects in radiation detection, radiation dosimetry, radiation biology.
